Small Monolith

The Broached Recall Small Monolith transforms John Warwicker’s graphic language into a three dimensional form, which has been fabricated using contemporary and heritage timber veneers supplied by Elton Group. The application of these heritage veneers embodies the collection’s intention to recall; acting as a time capsule of 20th C timber stewardship.

This piece features one drawer and a hidden door on the front face, both are operated by using a removable magnetic handle, designed to maintain the clean lines of the pattern. This interaction renders the Monolith an ideal object to discreetly store artefacts.The Small Monolith has delicately mitred edges which accentuate the sharp, linear qualities of the form and pattern. The object is finished with a satin polish.

The Small Monolith can be specified in a variety of heritage timber veneers sourced from the archive of Elton Group.
