Designed by Nathan Martell for Established & Sons, the Layup Lounge Chair explores the evolving possibilities of 3D veneer forming, pushing traditional wood bending into an expressive, sculptural form.

Behind its seemingly effortless silhouette is a complex, multi-part moulded veneer construction, precisely joined to read as one continuous gesture. The result is a chair where structure and expression become one, with a form designed to be appreciated from every angle.

Introduced in 2026, Layup is available in bamboo, oak and walnut veneer, with an upholstered leather option also available. Its distinctive form gives the chair a strong presence across residential, hospitality, workplace and lounge environments.
